7 ounces Chocolate Covered Pretzels
1 cup Salted Peanuts (optional)

Instructions

Melt Butterscotch: Start by melting the butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl at 50% power, heating in 30-second increments. Stir well after each interval to prevent burning, and continue until smooth and fully melted, approximately 90 seconds total.
Mix Butterscotch with Rice Chex: Place the Rice Chex cereal in a medium bowl and gently toss it with the melted butterscotch until evenly coated. Spread the coated cereal onto a parchment- or foil-lined baking sheet and allow it to set and firm up completely.
Prepare Additional Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the mini pretzels, candy corn, chocolate-covered pretzels, Reese’s Pieces, and salted peanuts if using. For added flavor, you may dip the salty pretzels into melted white chocolate, milk chocolate, or butterscotch before adding.
Combine and Store: Once the butterscotch-coated Rice Chex has fully set, lightly toss it with the prepared mix-in ingredients. Transfer the complete snack mix into an airtight container for storage to keep it fresh.
