Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Sauté Spinach: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the fresh spinach for about 3 minutes until wilted. Then drain any excess liquid thoroughly to avoid a soggy bake.
- Mix Cheeses and Seasoning: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella (keeping some aside for topping), grated Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are fully blended.
- Combine Spinach and Cheese Mixture: Fold the sautéed spinach into the cheese mixture carefully to distribute it evenly throughout the blend.
- Prepare for Baking: Pour the combined mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the reserved shredded mozzarella evenly on top to create a golden crust as it bakes.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Cool and Serve: After baking, let the dish cool slightly to set before serving for the best texture and flavor.
