Instructions
- Combine Base Ingredients: In a food processor, add the pitted green olives, crumbled feta cheese, room temperature cream cheese, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend until the mixture is smooth but retains a slightly textured consistency.
- Add Seasonings and Peppers: Add the chopped roasted red pepper, dried oregano, optional chili flakes, and freshly ground black pepper to the food processor. Pulse 2 to 3 times to mix these ingredients evenly while keeping some chunks for texture.
- Transfer and Top: Spoon the prepared dip into a serving jar or bowl. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top and place two whole green olives as a garnish.
- Chill the Dip: Refrigerate the dip for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and deepen, enhancing the overall taste.
