Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking the cookie bars.
- Prepare Baking Dish: Spray a square baking dish evenly with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Separate Cookie Dough: Divide the sugar cookie dough tube into two halves.
- Form Bottom Layer: Press one half of the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to create a base layer.
- Add Peeps: Distribute the Peeps marshmallow candies over the cookie dough base, using various colors for a vibrant look.
- Add Top Layer: Place chunks of the remaining cookie dough on top of the Peeps, leaving some gaps for melting marshmallows.
- Initial Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes to start melting the Peeps.
- Prepare Spatula: While baking, generously spray a spatula with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking when stirring.
