Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, beat the soft butter and icing sugar together until the mixture is well combined and creamy.
  2. Add Eggs: Incorporate the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until the batter becomes fluffy and light.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: Sift together the plain flour and baking powder, then add them to the wet mixture and beat until just combined.
  4. Add Flavorings and Milk: Pour in the milk, rose essence, and ground cardamom, then beat the batter until everything is thoroughly mixed and smooth.
  5. Fill the Pan: Spray a mini loaf or mini muffin pan (about 8 loaves) with non-stick spray, then spoon the batter evenly into the pan cavities.
  6. Bake: Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Bake the mini loaves for approximately 20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
