Rice Krispie Base
- 5 Tbsp butter
- 10 ounces marshmallows
- 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal

- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 10 ounces caramel candies or caramel bites, unwrapped
- 5 Tbsp butter
- Sea salt, to taste
Chocolate Drizzle
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
- Sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Prepare the baking dish: Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish thoroughly to prevent sticking.
- Make the Rice Krispie base: In a saucepan, melt 5 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and creamy. Remove from heat, then stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. In a large bowl, combine the Rice Krispie cereal and the marshmallow mixture, mixing thoroughly to coat. Transfer this mixture to the prepared baking dish, pressing down evenly to form a compact layer. Set aside.
- Prepare the caramel topping: In a separate saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, 5 tablespoons of butter, and unwrapped caramel candies. Stir continuously until both the butter and caramels are completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and immediately pour this caramel mixture evenly over the Rice Krispie layer. Spread gently to cover the surface fully. Sprinkle sea salt evenly over the caramel layer. Allow to cool for about 15 minutes to set.
- Make the chocolate drizzle: In a clean saucepan, heat 1/2 cup heavy cream until it just begins to boil, then remove from heat. Place the milk chocolate chips in a bowl. Gradually add the hot cream a tablespoon at a time to the chocolate, stirring continuously until the mixture reaches a smooth, drizzling consistency. Let the chocolate cool slightly, then drizzle it artistically over the caramel layer. Finish by sprinkling more sea salt on top for a perfect salty-sweet finish.
