Instructions

- Sauté garlic and peppers: In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced green and red bell peppers and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Combine chicken and sauces: Return the chicken to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili flakes (if using). Stir well to coat the chicken and peppers evenly.
- Create and add slurry: Mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry. Add this to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens to a glossy consistency.

Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of chili flakes or add fresh sliced chili peppers.
- You can substitute chicken breasts with thigh meat for a juicier texture.
- To keep vegetables crisp, avoid overcooking; stir-fry quickly on high heat.
- Use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce the salt content in the dish.
- Prepared jasmine rice can be steamed or instant rice can be used for convenience.
