- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
Flavorings & Toppings
- 2 grated garlic cloves
- 1 cup tomato bruschetta
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. balsamic glaze
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves
Serving
- Grilled crostini or pita slices, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the dip.
- Mix Cheeses and Yogurt: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened goat cheese, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, and plain Greek yogurt. Stir or beat until you get a smooth, creamy mixture without lumps.
- Add Garlic and Tomato Bruschetta: Fold in the grated garlic cloves and the tomato bruschetta. Mix thoroughly to ensure all the flavors are evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
- Transfer and Drizzle: Spread the combined mixture evenly into a baking dish. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top to add a hint of sweetness and acidity.
- Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is golden on top and bubbling around the edges.
- Garnish: Remove the dip from the oven and sprinkle the chopped fresh basil over the top to add freshness and vibrant flavor.
- Serve Warm: Serve the dip warm alongside grilled crostini or pita slices, perfect for dipping and sharing.
Notes
- To soften cream cheese and goat cheese quickly, leave them out at room temperature for about 30 minutes before starting.
- For extra flavor, use a high-quality balsamic glaze or reduce balsamic vinegar to a thick syrup.
- You can prepare the mixture ahead of time and refrigerate; just bake before serving.
- Make sure to grill or toast the crostini or pita slices for the best texture and flavor contrast with the dip.
- This dip can be kept warm in a low-temperature oven if serving at a party.
